National Reporting of Increases in Anti-Asian Violence Incidents

The White House, Asian American organizations, and national media have spotlighted the rise in Anti-Asian violence incidents since the start of the Pandemic in 2020. Although the number of reported incidents in the St. Louis Metropolitan area and state of Missouri are fewer than U.S. east and west coast regions, there should be increased vigilance to locally address potential sources of Anti-Asian incidents immediately when they arise.
