About 35 persons attended and enjoyed the St. Louis JACL 2025 Day of Remembrance event on February 16 at The Lodge at Des Peres. University of Pennsylvania lecturer Mr. Rob Buscher presented “Deeping Japanese American Community Memory through Cinema and the Power of Place,” a largely autobiographical journey from his early family history, through his work in Philadelphia JACL and the Asian American film industry, to his latest endeavors with Confinement Sites during World War II.
