On Sunday, February 16, 2025, St. Louis JACL members and friends are invited to celebrate the Day of Remembrance, an important occasion to mark the day that President F. Roosevelt signed Executive Order 9066 that led to the incarceration of Japanese Americans.

Enjoy a bento lunch prepared by Katsuya restaurant and then enjoy Mr. Rob Buscher of Philadelphia JACL (pictured at the 2024 JACL National Convention in Philadelphia) who will present “Deepening Japanese American Community Memory through Cinema and the Power of Place”. Mr. Buscher’s background includes past Festival and Artistic Director of the Philadelphia Asian American Film Festival and Executive Director of the Japanese American Confinement Sites Consortium (JACSC).
